Interview on Fred Hutch Cancer Center

It was a pleasure to be interviewed by Diane Mapes, a breast cancer survivor and a staff writer at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. A Cancer Center that unites innovative research and compassionate care to prevent and eliminate cancer and infectious disease.

In this interview, I share my fear of recurrence and health scares after finding a lump in my breast and another in my groin, including severe hip pain. Aches and pains after cancer treatment are common, but patients are often unsure whether it’s due to the collateral damage of treatment or if it might be the first whispers of a cancer recurrence.
