I’m proud to see my prostate cancer story published in the January/February 2022 edition of Coping® with Cancer magazine. My article will be read by more than a half-million people in the waiting rooms of America’s private practice oncologists, hematologists, urologists, and cancer treatment centers.
Before my diagnosis, I never thought I’d share such intimate details. But I have since learned that writing is very therapeutic and has become my number one coping mechanism. Although it’s a major vulnerable leap for me, knowing others may benefit is truly heartwarming and a significant part of my emotional healing and mental well-being.
A heartfelt thank you to Coping® with Cancer for sharing my story, the Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada support groups for providing outstanding support, my wife for her unconditional love, and all of you who continue to cheer me on and encourage me to keep writing.
