At the time of my prostate cancer diagnosis, I had no family history. And none of my living relatives could recall a single case of prostate cancer in the family. However, that all changed after my diagnosis. To my surprise, 22 months after my diagnosis, my dad also had a prostate cancer diagnosis. And that diagnosis came just one day before his 85th birthday.

This still must be hard to process. My grandma was very old when she got liver cancer. The disease was tough. She had no treatment.
I’m sorry to hear about your grandma, Kristie. In the event my dads cancer gets too painful, he has already made arrangements for end of life. In the meantime, he is enjoying his time.
