Interview on Ancora.ai: Clinical Trials

It was an absolute pleasure to meet with Ancora.ai and learn more about their AI technology and the algorithms behind the software that helps patients connect to clinical trials worldwide.

Ancora.ai has developed a friendly user interface and online questionnaire that helps connect patients to relevant clinical trials. Their software is light years ahead of the old manual method of reading, scanning and searching through pages and pages of eligibility criteria that takes hours and hours and leaves the reader with a high chance of missing or overlooking potential clinic trials.

Humanizing clinical trials

Their software’s brilliance is that it gathers the latest clinical trials from around the world for many different types of cancer and other health-related issues and stores them in a searchable format. And by answering the simple online questionnaire, the AI technology and the algorithms behind the software do the work for you by searching and identifying relevant clinical trials for your specific case. I believe this technology will help bring clinical trials into the mainstream.

As a prostate cancer survivor, I feel it’s essential for men to research all their options. Including clinical trials before deciding on treatment. For years, surgery and radiation have been the two mainstream options for prostate cancer. But there have been significant advancements in other treatment options. No longer should clinical trials be a last resort option. Please help spread the word about this free-to-use innovative technology development by Ancora.ai.

I’m grateful for the interview and the opportunity to share my prostate cancer diagnosis and lessons learned. You can listen to all my interviews under Gogs’ Interviews.
