Completing treatment can be both stressful and exciting. It’s most likely a relief, but fears of possible recurrence can be hard to avoid. Therefore, it’s critical to celebrate the end of treatment. It’s a significant milestone that deserves recognition. Find a way to take pleasure in this momentous occasion, regardless of the unknown future.
To help reduce my fear of prostate cancer recurrence, I find it essential to celebrate every milestone, no matter how small. High tide at Puntledge River in the Comox Valley is a cause for celebration. Highlights include navigating the rapids, watching wildlife, and spending quality time with family and friends.
