Vic Lombardi, a reporter, analyst and host for Altitude Sports, was recently the subject of two in-depth pieces in Westword and The Athletic. Vic, who provided a testimonial for Gogs’ book, Prostate Cancer Strikes: Navigating the Storm, was named Colorado Sportscaster of the Year in 2018.
Vic was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer at the age of 49. He says, “I had no idea what a prostate was. I thought the prostate was in the kneecap,” he said. “In television, a PSA is a public service announcement.” Vic Lombardi wants you to know more than he did about prostate cancer.
I’m proud to have a testimonial from Vic about my book. He writes, “A great read and well put together. Gogs has a gift, and I loved it. This book is a must for those who experienced prostate cancer and those about to.”
