I honour my sister Joanne with a digital daffodil from the Canadian Cancer Society. She passed away in 2010 from ovarian cancer at the age of 56. Joanne was my best friend, and I miss her every day.❤️

I wrote an article to honour her memory and to help raise awareness of ovarian cancer.

About Gogs

Gogs Gagnon followed an early passion for computers by becoming a programmer and an independent technology consultant. In the course of his career, he has developed software for Apple, IBM, and the government of British Columbia, where he was the lead programmer analyst and data architect. Now retired, Gogs is an executive member of the Prostate Cancer Foundation BC support group council and a community advocate and writer for health-union.com and curetoday.com. In addition to promoting prostate cancer awareness, Gogs devotes much of his time to writing. His next book is a coming-of-age memoir set in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia during the 1970s. He’s also working on a series of children’s books. Gogs is the father of three adult children and lives with his wife on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
