A visit with Dad after his cancer diagnosis

Here I am, visiting my dad a few weeks after his prostate cancer diagnosis. As you can see, he’s in great spirits as he has the results of his bone and CT scans. Both indicate no evidence that cancer had spread outside the prostate.

Not only has he had his scans and reviewed the results, but he’s also already spoken with a urologist, a radiation oncologist and the BC Cancer clinic. After carefully reviewing his test results, speaking with the various doctors, and considering his age and life expectancy, he opted for active surveillance.

I’ll post any breaking developments in his condition. In the meantime, it’s business as usual with his busy lifestyle, active social life, and dancing schedule.
